In ancient times honey was considered a luxury item, it healed and was a symbol of sweetness and devotion. Cleopatra moisturized and bathed in it. The Greeks, Egyptians and Chinese each succumbed to its healing powers.

Ancient and Eastern medicine have long understood honey’s use for vulva health. Its natural antimicrobial properties, its ability to balance pH levels, the potential to soothe inflammation, combat yeast and bacterial vaginosis (BV)..

Honey, Estrogenic Effects and Menopausal Dryness

Honey has estrogenic effects. It can mimic the actions of the hormone estrogen thus helping to maintain the moisture and health of vaginal tissues. Animal studies have shown honey’s ability to prevent vaginal atrophy associated with menopause.

How it Honey and Sexual Wellness Works:

Estrogenic Compounds: Honey contains flavonoids and phenolic acids which are thought to contribute to its estrogen-like activity.

Vaginal Dryness Relief: Research suggests that consuming and topical use of honey may help alleviate vaginal dryness experienced during menopause by maintaining vaginal tissue health.

Menopausal Relief: In addition to vaginal dryness, honey may also offer menopausal women antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits.

Antimicrobial effects: Honey's naturally acidic pH and production of hydrogen peroxide create an environment that inhibits the growth of harmful bacteria commonly associated with vaginal infections.

Balancing pH: The slightly acidic nature of honey can help restore the natural acidic balance of the vulva, this is important for maintaining a healthy microbiome.

Anti-inflammatory properties: Honey is believed to have anti-inflammatory effects that can help soothe irritation and discomfort in the vaginal area.

While the use of honey on your honeypot might seem counterintuitive given its close connection to sugar, like so many things, with a closer look the benefits quickly outweigh the myths and misconceptions.

BeeFused Technology

Time to blow your mind… The magic of beefused honey comes from how it is made. This patented delivery system allows free range bees to feed on a proprietary hemp or THC-rich cannabis nectar. These bees naturally break down the cannabinoids and digest them to create a super bioavailable, water soluble, single ingredient raw honey that is fast-acting and rich in cannabinoids.

Meet our Queen Bee! She's in the middle with the white crown.

If you are wondering if our happy bees get high, they do not. Bees, unlike humans, do not have an endocannabinoid system. As a result they are able to digest cannabis without any psychoactive effects.

Understanding that not all cannabinoids are created equally, the nectar we feed the bees is rich in major and minor cannabinoids, terpenes, vitamins, and nutrients that each work together in raw super honey that captures the full entourage effect of its component parts and is far more effective than the alternative isolated and infused honey or tinctures.

Due to the synergy between plant, insect, and human, an extremely minimal concentration of active cannabinoids are needed to achieve the desired effects in our cannabinoid-rich, single ingredient, raw honey.

oOYes + Uh Huh Honey

The oOYes “beefused” tantric honey is a key ingredient that runs throughout the oOYes cannagasmic line of edible lubes, elixirs, salve, massage oil candle, and sublingual tinctures.

oOYes Beefused Products:

  • Bee Wild (Tantric Honey)

  • Natural Woman (Daily Sublingual)

  • Love Me Too (Personal Moisturizer)

  • Groove Grease (Massage Oil Candle)

  • Trippin' (Single Dose to bring you Back from 'Bad Trip')

It is hard not to fall in love with the bees and their magical, cannabis-rich, raw honey. When building oOYes, I understood the value of including beefused honey in our formulations. I also understood that tantric pleasure, while ideal for horny humans, came with different messaging than our health, wellness and pet products.

That is when Uh Huh Honey was born.

The common denominator between oOYes and Uh Huh Honey is a love for bees and honey and their incredible medicinal attributes and delivery capabilities.

Save the Bees

As a human doing my best to make a positive contribution in this world, I have undying respect for the bees, the work they do, and their invaluable offering to this planet.

Without bees, the world would struggle to sustain its 7 billion humans and their demands. Without bees, humans may not survive. The good news is they are happy making honey, it is our job to protect them.

To this end, we partnered with The Bee Conservancy to help create bee sanctuaries, habitats, and fund education about bees and their unique position in our ecosystem. To date, all profits from Uh Huh Honey and oOYes beefused products have gone to further the incredible work of The Bee Conservancy.
